Marea South Beach

Completed in 2015, Marea Miami Beach was designed by the well-known firm of Sieger Suarez Architects, and developed by the Related Group of Florida, near the southern tip of South Beach. The design is reminiscent of Related’s Apogee South Beach tower, directly across the street, which was designed by the same architects almost a decade earlier. The two projects, although different in many ways, make an attractive composition on South Pointe Drive. Enhancing the design quality of Marea, international landscape design star Enzo Enea and the team of Yabu Pushelburg, interior designers of unusually vibrant spaces, were retained as well.

Designed to be intimate and in scale with South Beach’s famously walkable urban fabric, Marea only offers thirty luxurious residences. Marea consists of a pair of adjacent seven-story towers, linked by a lobby and ground floor retail, with a separate garage and amenity deck structure behind, connected via a bridge spanning the entrance drive.

Marea South Beach is surrounded by a wealth of outdoor public spaces that celebrate the unique qualities of Miami Beach. A few blocks to the east is Miami Beach’s iconic beach walk, which links Marjory Stoneman Douglas Ocean Beach Park, Lummus Park, South Pointe Park, and of course the beach itself, all within a few blocks of home. To the west is the Miami Beach bay walk, and of course, the Miami Beach Marina, both of which will soon link to the brand new Miami Beach Canopy Park via a signature bridge by artist Daniel Buren. Extraordinary dining options are at your feet, including Joe’s Stone Crab and Joe’s Take-Away, a food hall where you can enjoy the famous crab at Joe’s without the wait. A block to the north, try out Prima Classa, an Italian market and cafe that’s truly a hidden gem. Finally, just across the street, there’s Lilikoi Organic Living, a casual Hawaiian cafe.
