ICON South Beach

The famous Delano Hotel and its incredible interiors, which were created by designer Philippe Starck, was one of the catalysts that brought the 1990 renaissance of South Beach to the world, and we have not looked back since! The whimsical designs that Philippe Starck brought to the Delano almost thirty years ago still command attention and rave reviews by its guests. But at ICON South Beach, which opened in 2005, residents get to enjoy the whimsy that is Phillipe Starck in their everyday life.

Consistent with Mr. Starck’s creative genius, architectural surprises abound at ICON South Beach. Grab a coffee in the giant gold coffee urn in the lobby to start your day, then grab a seat in the Living Room settee floating on light as you catch up with your neighbors with the most recent South Beach gossip. Meanwhile, the Library is a scene straight out of Beetlejuice, and the interiors of the cafe, along with the food, are sure to please even the most sophisticated pallet. The more recently renovated pool deck, created by Enea Garden Design, introduced a lush and verdant landscape for its residents.

The excellently located building, overlooking Biscayne Bay, offers easy access to the Miami Beach Marina for boat owners and walkability to the rest of South Beach. The South of Fifth Baywalk connects residents to South Pointe Park, Smith & Wollensky, and the sands of Miami Beach. Adjacent to the building, artist Daniel Buren’s upcoming Miami Beach Canopy Bridge will give residents direct access to the new Miami Beach Canopy Park and West Avenue Baywalk. The bay walks and the bridge will further ease pedestrian access to other neighborhoods of Miami Beach. Cami Salon, on 4th Street, is truly a neighborhood gem of a hair salon.
